IESE Business School at the University of Navarra is currently accepting applications for a Research Assistant position starting in July 2024. This opportunity provides an excellent platform for recent graduates with a background in data science (bachelor's or master's degree) who are keen to develop skills in web scraping and to pursue a career in quantitative research in applied microeconomics, business or any related field.

You will work under the supervision of Prof. Hester Zhang, whose research interest lies in empirical industry organization. Her ongoing projects study economic and managerial implications of digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with Prof. Zhang to develop Python scripts for data scraping from designated websites.

· Monitor and maintain daily scraping activities to ensure data collection accuracy and efficiency.

· Organize and manage the scraped data to facilitate research analysis and reporting.

· Assist in other research tasks as required, such as data analysis and literature reviews.

Key qualifications:

· Proficient in Python.

· Prior experience in website scraping is highly preferred, but not necessary. Training in scraping will be sponsored for the selected candidate.

· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently.

· Demonstrated motivation to learn and a strong work ethic.

- Liderazgo la interlocución con todas las áreas de la compañía y externos con el objetivo de aclarar y definir acciones de mejora por de prevención.
- Propuesta mejoras en los sistemas de monitorización con el objetivo de facilitar la gestión y cumplimiento de SLAs desde la operación.
- Proponer/realizar correcciones de DATOS
- Realización de informes de capacidad.
- Agendado con cliente y proveedor de intervenciones, gestionando la agenda de los contactos de los equipos participantes (la ejecución y orquesta de la ventana deberá ser llevada a cabo por el N2 de Problem)
- Creación e informado de tickets en remedy sobre los distintos casos derivados de peticiones de cliente, PMO, LCEs y revisiones de KPIs.
- Creación de la parte no técnica de los entregables e informes requeridos, como la cumplimentación de los campos recogidos en sistemas.

Participar en los análisis, diseños y desarrollos de software solicitados por el cliente externo/interno que cumplan con unos niveles de calidad, apoyándote si es necesario en otros desarrolladores.
Asegura que cada petición cuenta con la documentación técnica correspondiente.
- Diseña las pruebas unitarias técnicas que puedan requerirse.

- Atiende los posibles correctivos identificados de modo que determine si debe atenderlos con urgencia dado su impacto, en cuyo caso, implementan las soluciones técnicas de tecnología VB y ASP .NET definidas en el diseño técnico, y realiza las pruebas unitarias para asegurar que la solución cumple con las especificaciones funcionales y técnicas.

- Apoyo en proyectos, bien por ejecución de determinadas tareas (incluso de desarrollo), bien por apoyo técnico a los correspondientes jefes de proyecto.

I2cat Foundation is looking for a Researcher to join our Artificial Intelligence area.

The successful candidate will work within the Disitrbuted Data Architectures team on projects related to Data Spaces, a set of reference architectures and standards that define decentralized architectures to securely share datasets between different organizations. Examples of topics that the team currently works on include:

• Implementation of Data Space solutions with a wide variety of partners from the public and private sectors from the mobility, industry and health sectors.
• Integration of big data and stream processing techniques to improve existing Data Space solutions in processing large and / or real-time datasets that are currently not supported.
• Integration of data usage policy definition and enforcement tools into Data Space solutions. This will allow our solutions to offer automatic enforecement of data usage policies defined by data providers and guarantee that consumers adher to these policies.
• Integration of data protection and Privacy-Enhacing Technologies (PETs) into data spaces. Examples of these technologies include data anonymization, data encryption, differential privacy, etc. The technologies will provide another layer of protection by allowing data providers to process their datasets before sharing them.
• Participate in the definition of reference architectures and standards at the European level. This will allow us to increase the visibility of the team at the European level and influence the direction of Data Space standards based on our experience.

Candidates are not expected to take part in all of these activities. Based on the profile of the successfull candidate and their interests, they will be integrated into the team and start working on one of the mentioned topics.

The IoT Research Area of the i2CAT Foundation is looking for a Researcher to work in IoT Ambient Intelligence and enhaced positioning topics.

The suceessfull candidate will join the IoT group to work in the implementation and development of IoT solutions and prototypes and their evaluation in real environments. The job will offer the possibility to investigate and work in emergent IoT technologies and solutions from a very applied perspective. Concretely, the candidate will collaborate with the group in current projects working in some of the following fields:

• • Development of the future IoT smart environments and sensing solutions capable to exploit intelligence in constrained IoT devices, adapt to the needs of the scenario and improve the overall interaction with the end user.
  • Enhancement of indoor precise tracking and positioning solutions developed by the group and based on sensor fusion, RF and Visual Light Communications.
  • Proposal and development of strategies for cooperative and distributed IoT networks

The main tasks performed by the candidate will be:

• Development and implementation of SW/FW IoT prototypes
• Deployment of experimental testbeds to validate the prototypes in controlled and real conditions.
• Development of tools and scripts to evaluate and monitor the solutions
• Research in protocols, mechanisms, algorithms and emergent applications/solutions for IoT.
• Writing of technical documentation and project deliverables
• Collaboration with other researchers and engineers involved in the project.

The candidate person is expected to have capability to work autonomously and a proven experience in IoT technologies and protocols.

• Multinational company|Permanent position

Leading group in the development and manufacture located in Gavà, is looking for a Training Specialist who designs, planned, organized and managed the different types of company training activities with a focus on mandatory and digital training, also through the use and implementation of training tools to improve employee skills and competencies.

- Responsible for the whole cycle of training of the 3 sites, focus in Staff and also collaborate with the Production System team related Direct Workers.

- Budget, planning, screening the most adequate training partners, execution and follow up of the activities.

- Will be responsible to attend internal and external Audits, about Compliance with the Group training activities related.

- Supports the HR Manager in analysing the training requirements and in developing, planning and implementing the related courses.

- Monitors the KPIs and the reporting process within the area, including in compliance with internal and external audits and procedures.

- Monitors the qualitative, quantitative and functional development of the mandatory and digital learning activities (e-learning).

- Ensures that all training activity data are entered into the system.

- Collaborate with the HR Manager in all development activities (individuals or Grupal ones) that the company may need.

- Will collaborate in the definition and maintenance of the Trainee Program.
