  • Ensure process delivery with Accounting expertise for processes being covered by BPO and Accounting insights relevant for processes not being covered by the BPO partner
  • Counterpart to finance service delivery network at BPO side to support ad-hoc questions or incidents which requires company insights and knowledge
  • Drive the implementation and standardization of Finance hotel activities within the Area and ensure documentation (Policies/SOPs) are up to date

The candidate will join the Media & Internet Area (MIA) of i2CAT, which is composed of over 14 experienced researchers and engineers in the fields of distributed and interactive multimedia systems and media processing, and is involved in relevant R&I projects with the European and national ecosystems, in close collaboration with key players from academia and industry.

This area is seeking a highly motivated and talented Android Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should not only have a strong background in Unity development but also skills in other programming languages, particularly in C++. Additionally, having experience in Android development and working on the maintenance of a Unity SDK would be a significant plus. The candidate will be in charge of maintaining and improving the Holoconference Unity SDK called HoloMIT, implementing new features, integrating in-house new Holographic pipelines and optimizations.

Ground Systems Engineer

The i2cat Foundation is looking for a Ground Systems Engineer to join our Space Communications Research Group.

The SpaceComms area is currently participating in different activities that conform to the New Space Strategy of Catalonia. This strategy aims at promoting the space ecosystem in the catalan region and developing novel technologies that reach the market to boost private and public initiatives. Among the different activities that are planned in the strategy, the research and development ones are key to achieve the strategy goal.

The SpaceComms is conducting different projects in its New Space research programme, centered in pillar technologies: (1) integration of satellite systems in 5G infrastructure to conform NTN; (2) contributions to Software Defined Networks deployments in satellite constellations; and (3) developments of Inter-Satellite Link technologies. The research programme envisions to validate these developed technologies in dedicated CubeSat missions, that can additionally provide novel services to the catalan region.

As a Ground Systems Engineer, you will provide support in the concept, design, development, and technical implementation of the ground infrastructure of the Space Communications department at i2CAT. The ground infrastructure, spread across several locations, will support the department's research activities on one hand, and on the other, assist in the management and operation of the CubeSat missions at i2CAT.

Some responsabilities of the candidate:

  • Participate in the design of the ground segment infrastructure, according to the department's needs and objectives.

Computer Graphics Software Engineer

i2CAT Foundation (Barcelona) is opening a position to advance in the research and innovation field of real-time distributed video services, involving immersive media formats like volumetric video.

The candidate will join the Media & Internet Area (MIA) of i2CAT, which is composed of over 14 experienced researchers and engineers in the fields of distributed and interactive multimedia systems and media processing, and is involved in relevant R&I projects with the European and national ecosystems, in close collaboration with key players from academia and industry.

This area is seeking a highly motivated and talented computer graphics engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should not only have a strong background in computer graphics development but also skills in other programming languages, such as C++/C# and Python. The candidate will be in charge of maintaining and improving the Holoconference Unity SDK called HoloMIT, implementing new features, integrating in-house new Holographic pipelines and optimizations.

Moreover, the candidate will be involved in cutting-edge research, innovation and development tasks. Research Scientist in System Security

The Cyber Security area is dedicated to real world problems and generates knowledge and assets for societal cyber growth and awareness. One topic of investigation is the security of virtualization and operating system architectures for the next generation of software networks. The department aims to investigate the design of such architectures, their contribution to the security, the trustworthiness and the privacy in distributed environments, while also investigating their structural weaknesses.

The QA Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

  • Implementation of supplier qualification SOP.
  • Performance of documental or presence audits according to the internal policies of the company.
  • Keep up to date the supplier audit program according to the performed risk analysis.
  • Create and/or review the performance of risk analysis studies for designated functions.
  • Leading or participate in root cause analysis investigation and execution of CAPA's as part of Non Conformities, Incidents, Complains under QMS scope.
  • Participate in compliance improvement projects in concerned areas of the company.
  • Preparation and review of Technical Quality Agreements
  • Ensure compliance with standard work procedures, forms and work instructions that apply to all areas of the company.

  • Supporting for the implementation and execution of internal Change Control's.
  • Training of staff in EU-GMP and US-GMP guidelines according to the approved annual program.
  • Supporting the compliance and implementation of continuous improvement based think approach in cooperation with all company departments.
  • Active participation in customer and internal audits, self-inspections and authorities inspections like AEMPS or US-FDA.

The Validation and Compliance Manager will have the following requirements:



  • Development of IT QMS infrastructure and data integrity approach by use of electronic records, digital signatures, blocked excel sheets….
  • Leading the data integrity and qualification/validation of computerized systems according to Annex 11 of EU-GMP.
  • Participate in root cause analysis investigation and execution of CAPA's as part of OOS-OOT, Non-Conformities, Incidents, Complains under Warehouse and Computerized systems scope.
  • Leading software management support related to Quality Activities in cooperation with assigned Quality Management System Compliance Manager.
  • Leading and updating the integration of BMS (Building Management System), SAP, CCTV and Particles Size Monitoring software inside quality system.
  • Preparation of all needed SOPs, WI's and records evidence applied to Warehouse activities and computerized systems.
  • Establishes Key Performance Indicators and provides product status reporting to the site management on product quality and compliance risks with proposed solutions for improvement of the quality and compliance systems
  • Participate as an expert in software and warehouse premises for external and internal audits as well as for the inspections by regulatory authorities.
  • Active support in Qualification Activities, SAT/FAT/IOPQ, Validation applied to Software's and production, laboratory, warehouse and general core data center.
