Being the site competent health, safety and environmental manager who provides knowledge and guidance to business management and staff for all aspects in which this role relates.Promoting and maintaining a positive business health and safety culture that comprises of employee engagement, risk and hazard elimination with management of safe systems of work throughout.Leading accident investigations relating to RIDDOR Reportable Accidents, Lost Time Accidents, High Potential Incidents and Environmental Incidents across the site whilst collaborating with site management to significantly reduce or eliminate repeat occurrences.Conduct training and coaching at all levels to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.Be involved with operational teams to develop and maintain local forums to promote environmental, health and safety best practice.Lead and manage administrative and engineering controls as well as new implementation across the site to reduce environmental impacts.Form and maintain successful environmental engagement with site staff and wider business management.Implement a proactive environmental management system for the site in which a low impact sustainability is achieved.
