Senior Indirect Tax Specialist

Multinational automotive company.

The main responsibilities are:

• Develop, support and monitor processes for AP/AR in line with global directives to ensure VAT and Indirect Tax compliance.


• Providing VAT and Indirect Tax support to Front Office, Clusters and Cognizant to ensure VAT and Indirect Tax Compliance. Identify area's for improvement.


• Have a key role in allocation of accountability related to the VAT Compliance procedures globally


• Involvement in the SAP S/4HANA implementation in order to customize settings for indirect tax purposes


• Collaborate with Digital to ensure that the company can meet local reporting requirements


• Deliver high quality service and advices within the area of responsibility


• Support on developing Ad hoc activities related to Tax reporting, analysis, and metrics


• Speaking partner for different stakeholders (e.g. GPM's, GPO's, Business Controllers, etc)

• University degree in Finance or equivalent


• Good system understanding and efficient data handling


• Around 8 -10 years of experience in working with VAT and Indirect Taxes in large companies, audit firms or Tax Authorities


• Accounting knowledge


• Experience of tax determination in SAP


• Good communication skills in English


• Pragmatic & logical thinker with an eye for detail and an analytical mind.


• Results and action-oriented individual with good interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to work with cross functional teams


• Experienced in managing multiple projects whilst adhering to strict deadlines
