Interim Ledger and Taxation Supervisor - 6-month project

• We look for a Senior Accountant Specialist with 6 to 10 years of experience |We offer a 6-month project (maternity leave)

Our client is a world leading Group in the Personal Care sector

Senior Accountant:

• Supervises and carries out the accounting process reconciliation of accounts, maintenance of Chart of Accounts.


• Supervises the day to day activities of staff that comprise the accounting function to ensure including accounts payable, payroll, manual Journal Entries, and asset accounting.


• Responsible for accuracy, timelines and the general integrity of the accounting function and related reports.


• Ensure the organization's financial resources are managed in accordance with accounting principles and comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards.


• Manage day to day the Accounting activities in accordance with the criteria, procedures and policies established by the Company.


• To assist in the external and internal audit process

Taxation:

• Prepares and reviews the VAT and Personal Income Tax Returns.


• Prepares the informative tax returns.


• Reconciles the different balance accounts related to Taxes.


• Supervises the fiscal activities in accordance with the organization tax policies and the local tax law.

Other:

• Lead and supervises operational team members to achieve the objectives.

We offer a 6 month contract in Madrid

Requirements:

• Academic degree (B.A. / M.A.) in business studies or comparable qualification.


• 6 to 10 years of related work experience


• Accurate


• Excellent understanding of company policies


• High result- and detail-orientation


• Ability to work precisely under pressure


• Hands-on experience with accounting software


• Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks


• Excellent analytical skills


• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
