Head of Technical Asset Management

Independent investment and asset management company focused on renewable energy sector

1. Responsible for the technical management of the assets (wind, PV) located mainly in Spain, Portugal, and minority in other European countries.


2. Lead, coordinate and animate the technical team (that includes project managers, performance engineer, and site managers) to ensure achievement of the objective.


3. Ensure outperforming of operation for all projects of the region. Supervise management of all relevant operational, contractual, administration issues, report and ensure cooperation with the other department of the company.


4. Ensure appropriate internal reporting of all relevant operational matter.


5. Foster HSE culture and cooperated with the QHSE manager to improve safety at site.


6. Ensure full compliance of the technical requirement of the assets.


7. Ensure Investor's satisfaction regarding achievement of the MSA scope and obligation, and M&A approach.


8. Jointly with the head of department, lead commercial communication and negotiation with the project key providers.


9. Lead Asset optimization, including innovative initiatives, performance enhancement and digital strategy.


10. Ensure excellent management of the integration of new project.


11. Ensure outstanding reporting, communication to the investors.


12. Develop a risk management approach that would ensure balance risk/return of the projects.


13. Lead and be accountant of all quality matter for the department, regarding procedures, manuals, systems, methodologies, documentations.


14. Develop and implement management practice adapted to the changing needs.


15. Improve operational efficiency of the team, optimise workflow, and standardize processes.


16. Support the company in RFQ for asset management for third party,

• Degree in Engineering, a master's degree is highly recommended.


• +8 years of overall experience in the sector, with at least 4 years in Asset management.


• +2 years of experience in managing teams.


• Deep technical knowledge of wind and/or solar technologies.


• Very good communication skills, comfortable to maintain smooth conversation at an institutional level.


• Experience in setting up teams and structures internationally.


• Experience in implementing work procedures, tools, systems to allow escalation of the company.


• Proactive, flexible, and adaptable.


• Highly organized while maintaining a pragmatic approach.


• Proficiency level in Spanish & English. Other language is highly appreciated (German, Italian…).


• International profile: experience of work in north of Europe is recommended.


• Very good command of Excel and of the office package in general.
