Corporate Finance Analytics Manager - New Center of Excellence

Important multinational Group is looking for a Corporate Finance Analytics Manager for their new Center of Excellence in Madrid. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role. Previous experience in Controlling & Reporting is a must. Experience with analysis and visualization of (Finance) Data and reports building is a must. Very high English level is a must. Experience using Qlikview, Qliksense, Power BI, or similar, is a must.

Reporting to the Head of Group Controller, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

• Support the Group with business analysis and drive simplification and standardization to have one common dataset for business analysis.


• Design business analysis systems for use throughout the Finance Function, with a focus on Controlling and Management Reporting.


• Coordinate review and consolidation of the existing landscape, including maintenance and updates.


• Act as coordinator between divisions, IT (BI / SAP / Tagetik teams) as well as Finance stakeholders on development of the current and future tools landscape.


• Drive simplification and standardization across divisions and regions, with the goal of creating one common dataset used to analyze the business.


• Provide expertise on data and reporting matters to other projects.


• Act as application owner for Group level solutions.


• Help discover use-cases for advanced analytics within the Group, especially in predictive analytics.

• Salary package: Around 70.000 - 80.000 euros fixed salary + bonus.

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role in an important multinational company.


• Previous experience in Controlling & Reporting in a multinational company is a must.


• Able to understand new reporting requirements and how to build them into existing systems (simplification and standardization).


• Experience building, simplifying and standardizing financial reports


• Proficient user QlikView / Qliksense, Power BI, or similar reporting applications.


• Experience with Tagetik will be a plus.


• Proven skills in Advanced Analytics / Data Science.


• ERPs experience (SAP, MS Dynamics) a distinct advantage.


• Very high English level (written and spoken).


• Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.


• Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions.


• Very good communication skills, able to relate to variety of stakeholders from Functions and the business.
