IESE Business School at the University of Navarra is currently accepting applications for a Research Assistant position starting in September 2024. This opportunity provides an excellent platform for recent graduates with a background in economics or business (bachelor's or master's degree) who are keen to pursue a research career in applied microeconomics, with a specific focus on industrial organization, public economics, or labor economics.
You will work under the supervision of Prof. Hester Zhang, whose research interest lies in empirical industry organization. Her ongoing projects examine competition policies in the European Union and the United States using a structural approach.
Key qualifications:
· Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in economics, business, or a related field.
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
· Demonstrated motivation to learn and a strong work ethic.
· Proficiency in English (at least B2 level) is essential.
· Familiarity with academic literature and experience conducting literature searches.
· Experience using statistical software packages such as STATA, Matlab, R, and/or Excel.
· Prior exposure to data collection and data cleaning processes is advantageous.
