Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the candidate will manage systems technical offer, design and application:

• Leads technical negotiations with the Customer and supports the Project Manager in representing the project in all engineering-related matters towards the Customer.


• The Project Responsible Engineering is a technical interface with Customer.


• Ensure that all technical requirements and demands by the Customer/contract are covered by the defined Engineering-Scope.


• Performs the technical interface between the client and the project manager in the Wabtec organization, manage problems and make decisions


• Coordination and management of the Engineering team and project team support to reach their commitments.


• Definition of the system specification and provide the specifications of the different engineering fields (RAMS, mechanical, electrical, SW, HW and validation test)

Engineering Degree

High level of English

3 years minimum in Engineering Function

Experience in railway or Automotive Industry is a Plus

Pro engineer (CREO) / CATIA / Auto CAD/ draftsight advanced level

Additional Engineering Software is a plus

Quality tools knowledge as APQP, Control Plan and AMFE

Teamspirit and leadership skills are required
