Building Facilities Coordinator

Multinational that is responsible for delivering the images and sounds of large-scale sports activities.

• Coordinates building maintenance and repairs with Buildings & Grounds Maintenance


• Detection and resolution of technical problems related to electromechanical elements.


• Supervision of Construction works (installations, refurbishment, technical installations improvements).


• Provides occupants with updates of electrical, water and other service outages and scheduled shutdowns


• Stays informed of changes to space assignments in their facilities


• Coordinates department facility related activities and projects


• Develops and implements facility emergency plans including supporting, maintaining and updating Fire safety.


• During evacuations, assists emergency response teams in assessing building condition, locating missing personnel, shutting off utilities, and delivering a status report to assembly point leaders


• Prepares documents to put out tenders for contractors


• Supervision and coordination of different vendors/providers/contractors.


• Calculates and compares costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money


• Plans for future development in line with strategic business objectives


• Manages and leads change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities


• Ensures the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation. Facilitating and maintaining ISO certifications awarded to the company.


• Plans best allocation and utilisation of space and resources for new projects


• Checks that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies


• Uses performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement


• Emergency/Incidences reporting and monitorization until fully solved.


• On-site and Remote support of the installation.

• Subject to national/international criminal background checks

We are looking for a Mechanical or Electrial Engineer with a Certification for Safety and Risk Prevention Training with more than 5 years of proven experience in a relevant field.

• BMS and building general systems installations knowledge.


• General regulations, fire safety, risk prevention, RITE, CTE and REBT strong knowledge.


• Strong electromechanical knowledge of technical installations.


• Experience in critical environment related to Data Centers, and general office building.


• Critical infrastructures, UPS, generating set, electric substation and conventional and precise cooling systems technical skills.


• Technical-legal regulations monitorization and application.


• Fluent in English and Spanish
