OmniAccess is an industry leading marine network solutions provider, offering a wide range of products and services with over 15 years of experience within the superyachts, cruise, and scientific research maritime markets.

The company operates global VSAT networks from their own teleports and data-centers located around the world, and as part of the offered end-to-end solutions OmniAccess designs, implements and supports vessels’ onboard Communications, IT Networking and Cybersecurity.

Description of function

The Networking Presales Engineer serves as the primary technical resource for the Account Managers within the sales team. He/She is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the Sales team as the key technical advisor. Must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, as well as to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Also, he/she should encourage new and repeat business by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

The main responsibilities of this function include:

Confer with the Sales team and customers to assess needs and determine technical solutions.

Create and review technical and commercial proposals.

Liaise with the other departments for the high-level design of the proposed solutions.

Deliver high-level technical presentations and documentation explaining products and services to customers.

Communicate clients’ needs to internal departments for future product and service enhancements.

Identify opportunities and support them to achieve sales objectives.

Requisitos mínimos

* Academic background and/or equivalent work experience in one of the following subjects: IT, Networking, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications.
* At least four years’ work experience within the IT, Networking and/or Cybersecurity domains.
* Ideally holding certifications like Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE4, or equivalent.
* Ideally holding a solid understanding of virtualized IT architectures.
* Excellent command of English (written & verbal). Additional languages would be a plus.
* Strong communication skills with a client-focused attitude.
* Proven solutions design and selling skills required in order to maintain and enhance customer relationships and provide technical mentorship.
