Reporting to the Global Director of Marketing Communications, the EMEA Communications Manager is part of the Global Communications team. This role leads the B2B communications for the EMEA apparel business, implementing the European marketing communications strategy in close collaboration with the European regional teams.



This role is responsible for on-time and on-budget communications strategy, project management and delivery, and will be instrumental in maintaining messaging and translation consistency across communication platforms. This position serves as a main point of contact for the EMEA accounts and sales team and the communications managers globally.

Responsibilities:

Event management
  • Plan and execute strategic vision though virtual and in-person trade show/events planning and organization, aligning with the Company corporate identity and ensuring that all communications materials are brand compliant.




  • Plan and execute promotional and media plans to support business goals for events






PR and content development
  • Manage all PR agencies in Europe and coordinate pan-European result-driven PR initiatives aiming to build brand preference and loyalty for the brands at trade target audiences.




  • Look for opportunities to develop engagement-led content supporting the priority customers and nurture stories for the company's digital owned channels (working with the Content Team).






Marketing collateral
  • Develop and flawlessly execute 360° communications plans in line with regional pull-through strategy at priority customers (brands, retailers, distributors, coverers and mills).




  • Supporting the EMEA accounts and sales team in the production and timely delivery of marketing collateral including but not limited to brochures, POS material and presentations, often against tight deadlines.




  • Drive creative asset approval process in keeping with the brand standards.




  • Support the development of sales merchandisers promoting the company's technologies and innovations, internally and externally.




  • Manage usage rights for all locally developed creative assets.




  • Develop, implement and manage translation quality processes for Europe and local entities by coordinating with translation agencies and internal language experts.




  • Accountable for working with suppliers to order, print, store, keep track of and deliver collateral to offices in Europe.






Media
  • Plan, coordinate and execute media buy via buying agencies and artwork development with creative agencies for EMEA media investments.




  • Establish KPIs and analyze plan performance and ROI performance to guide future investment strategies.






Project coordination
  • Liaise with Internal Corporate Communications Leader to manage adaptation/implementation of messaging in Europe (as need arise).




  • Support and implement global activation/influencer programs in Europe.






Budget and procurement
  • Create and log Internal Orders and Purchase Orders for the Communications Team in Europe.




  • Follow-up of invoices payments and allocation of costs according to budgeting protocol.




  • Keep the EMEA Communications Team budget tracking spreadsheet up to date.




  • Support the finance team in the registration of new suppliers.




  • Handle end-of-year accruals.
