Multinational Company Chemical Sector that produces natural ingredients and fragances and is located in Vallés Occidental.

The person will report to the Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Manager and will be in charge of:

• Control of the food safety guarantees of the products.


• Raw materials: Supplier and new raw material approval process.


• Control, maintain and update raw material technical database and current legislation.


• Technical support to Purchasing Department/Requests to suppliers.


• Creation and update of raw material specifications according to the internal and external requirements.


• Finish products: Change management, updating technical guarantees accordingly.


• Control, update and maintenance of the technical guarantees database.


• Create Certificates according to the current food legislation (GMO, Allergens, Irradiation, Material Safety data sheet,…).


• Quality Technical support to Sales Department/ Management of technical customer requests.


• Management of customer complaints.


• Management of non-compliant products in collaboration with QC.


• Collaborate in projects to improve the control of the product specifications and systems.


• General assistance in Quality matters (APPCC,Audits, ISO, maintenance of system documents,…).


• Monitoring of the internship staff of the department.


• Quality audits (Internal and supplier audits).


• Be part of the internal auditors team work, taking part in Inspections related to assigned activities of each department and preparing audit reports.

Skills & Requirements:

• University Degree in Experimental Sciences as Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Food Technology (CTA).


• Between 3-5 years of experience in an equivalent position.


• Computer (MS Office) advanced level.


• Good Spoken and written communication skills in English/Spanish.


• Good organizational skills and methodical approach to work.


• Problem-solving skills.


• Focused and taking care about details, meticulous.


• Technical knowledge about Food Industry.


• Laboratory analytics experience would be a plus.


• Knowledge about Food Legislation, HACCP, Food Hygiene and Food Safety Systems (ISO 22000, BRC, IFS…).
