  • International Purchasing Planner with English. Engineering studies preferable

Important FMCG multinational company located in Vallés Oriental(Barcelona), is looking for a Purchasing Planner with English. Is responsible for planning and sending purchase orders according needs in the ERP system to ensure timely deliveries of raw materials, packaging and finished goods used in the factory or ready for sale. Deliveries on time and in full is required to ensure a high service level to our customers. If needed, replan orders and communicate with suppliers to optimize inventory levels and avoid material shortages. Maintains and updates the ERP system to ensure that parameters such as price, lead time and order quantities are correct. Manage and drive communication with suppliers for quality complaints, invoices& payments and performance follow-up & improvement. Actively participate in supply chain improvement& sourcing related projects, internally and with suppliers.




  • Release and send purchase orders& forecasts to suppliers according needs in ERP system.

  • Replan purchase orders together with suppliers if needs change and update ERP system accordingly.

  • Monitor that purchase orders are delivered on time and take actions to resolve delivery delays with suppliers.

  • Inform internal stakeholders such as Production& Sales about supply disturbances and material shortages.

  • Manage and drive communication with suppliers for quality complaints, invoices& payments and performance follow-up and improvement.

  • Price and parameter updates in ERP system.

  • Represent Procurement in product innovation projects.

  • Prepare and send request for quotations to suppliers, evaluate and communicate supplier quotations for decision makers.

  • Participate in supply chain improvement projects, internally and with suppliers.

  • Participate in supplier evaluations and audits.

Requisitos mínimos
  • 4+ years experience of purchasing or procurement from FMCG company or other relevant industry.

  • BSc, Master, MBA or equivalent experience in Industrial engineering, Supply chain management, Manufacturing or similar.

  • Mandatory high level of English (both written/oral).

  • Experience working with international suppliers/partners.

  • Working in cross functional teams in international business environments.

  • Sourcing of finished products/traded goods.

  • Working in ERP system, such as Movex, SAP or similar.

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical approach and ability to systematically solve tasks.
