INLAND LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR

•Using IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs
•Using associated information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle
•Using data from IT systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements
•Working in coordination with port staff to plan routes
•Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs
•Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers
•Developing business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions
•Understanding, working and possibly helping to develop e-commerce
•Developing work schedules in various departments to ensure work is completes on time
•Troubleshooting to make sure a project or process remains on schedule
•Improving and developing performance within the constraints of legislations, fuel costs and rising environmental pressures
•Implementing health and safety procedures
•Planning vehicle routes

•Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields ideally Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Managements..
•Proven experience in selling complex solutions, logistics and pricing
•Proven experience in business concepts, statistical interpretations, marketing strategies
•IT Literacy
•Knowledge of MS Office and its application software
•English is a MUST
•Spanish is desirable
•Master’s degree is desirable
