LIFTING EQUIPMENT EXPERT

We are searching for a BLADE TOOLING ENGINEER to join an interesting project in Pamplona, working for one of our wind customers. (He / She may work remotely.

Mission

The aim of this project is to modify the current lifting equipment used in the blade manufacturing process in order to reduce the risk of staying below any suspended loads according to the EU safety standards. This will be applicable for clientplants worldwide.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Define the modifications to be done in the existing equipment and the specifications for the new lifting equipment.


• Get the proper planning and quotations with the different suppliers involved.


• Technical assessment of the supplier quotations.


• Validate the modifications with our main stakeholders, especially with HSE team, in the different validation steps: (Design validation, FAT, SAT)


• Follow up the implementation of this equipment.


• Handover the equipment and the needed documents to the blade manufacturing plant

The person should be willing to travel abroad up to 30% of the time to client factories and suppliers’ facilities.

Education:

• Industrial, Mechanical or electrical engineer


• Advance English communication skills is a MUST

Previous Experience:

• More than 5 years of experience in designing and implementing industrial machinery and lifting accessories.

Technical Knowledge

• Office pack (Excel, World, PowerPoint, MS Project), AutoCAD, 2D and 3D CAD


• Knowledge in UNE Standards like Standard UNE EN 13155 and European Machine Directive 2006/42/CE

Others:

• Background in blade manufacturing process is a plus.


• Wide experience in industrial machinery related to blades, is highly appreciated.
