The person's selected mission will be:

- Design Leader is accountable for the deliverables of his Engineering discipline to ensure the success of the project

- He is responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting of his Engineering discipline activities, with support of Mechanical Team Leader

- Can functionally manage a group of engineers / technicians in a given Engineering discipline. Especially leads the group by managing their activities

What will you do? These will be your main tasks:

Accountable for :

Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:

• Plan, monitor and control activities according to Engineering discipline PD of his/her PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management)


• In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets


• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications


• Perform or support design calculations / simulations / coding / associated acceptance tests


• Applies Standardization rules, exceptionally will request destandardizations based on justifications


• Responsible for Engineering discipline design reviews preparation


• Interface with the customer for the Engineering discipline content


• Report and escalate to the Product Technical Manager/Leader/Eng and his Hierarchical

Responsible for the detailed scheduling

• Establish detail breakdown of the activities to meet the milestones


• Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget and timing

Management of the contributors

• Daily management of his group


• Assign to them the needed work packages


• Regular review with his/her Hierarchical to check alignment between needs and availabilities

• Engineering Degree


• 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in automotive engineering or relevant industries.


• 1 year of experiencie in Management or Lead Positions


• Experience in designing plastic, metal


• Fluent level of English: C1
