Important multinational manufacturer of processing machinery for the food sector based in Granollers, needs to integrate:

TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

As Technical Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing remote technical support and expertise to customers, internal customer support teams and service teams. You will ensure that cases are handled according to the customer's needs and deliver the agreed service in every touch point.

TASKS:

* Troubleshoot production issues (machine downtime, performance issues, etc.) at customer sites or remotely.
* Liaise and report back to the customer on the technical issues/recommendations/progress of the issue.
* Follow the global standard guidelines for handling requests , including prioritisation, escalation, routing, response time etc.
* Advise on technical solutions to customer change requests.
* Identify and advise on required standard and non-standard spares parts packages as part of the request handling process.
* Provide technical support to the local back office and eventually engineers on major installation projects
* Provide customer and feedback results to your colleagues.
* Expected to travel to customer sites for technical training.

WE REQUEST:

* Background in mechatronic engineering (knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering)
* Ideally previous experience as a Field Service Engineer with strong mechatronic skills.
* 5 years of relevant work experience.
* Commercial skills.
* Advanced Spanish and English.
* Ideally experience in the Rendering industry.
