Professional Position Cloud Centre of Excellence (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Coordinate the Cloud Center of Excellence team to drive impact and value to our whole dev organization at MediaMarktSaturn
• Conduct trainings, cross-shadows, build on MVPs / POCs, test and play with cutting edge technology and patterns, and never stop learning on better ways to accomplish tasks
• Be a leader (m/f/d) for the team and the whole organization to also have a positive impact in driving the DevOps culture and the Growth Mindset
• Significantly influences Solution Architecture for the whole organization
• Influences the backlog for the most impactful driving initiatives
• Champions technology best practices and ensures they are followed by respective competency team
• Is an active part of the technical community for the respective competency

Your Profile

• Experience in building and managing a passionate and high-performing team
• Expert with Kubernetes, microservice setups, and everything touching this area
• Strong interest in cloud-native applications and infrastructure, e.g., provisioning software to the cloud, CI/CD pipelines, or lift & shift concepts
• Always curious to test out new patterns and tech, especially open-source tools
• Extensive experience in cloud platforms (GCP preferred, Azure nice to have) and IaC
• Familiar with common DevOps practices using K8s, Terraform, Github, Opsgenie, Jenkins, etc.  and programming languages 
• Agile way of working and a basic understanding of SCRUM
• Able to communicate to Top Management as well as to Engineers
• Fluent in English, German would be a plus
