EHS Specialist & Manufacturing Engineer

Multinational company dedicated to bring efficient climate solutions for buildings and transportation, needs to incorporate a Manufacturing Engineer & EHS Specialist in Barcelona to provide Health and Safety services to support world-class manufacturing standards. Key tasks would include responsibility for keeping people free from risk or injury, manage and improve EHS standard work to minimize losses due to injuries and achieve compliance to all requirements.

The EHS Specialist & Manufacturing Engineeer will have the following responsabilities:

• Reduce First aids, Near misses and dangerous occurrences and achieve a 0.00 in TRIR and 0.00 LTIR.


• Provide EH&S support for the manufacture of Barcelona products to world-class standards ensuring that products are built in the safest and efficient manner.


• Ensure that standard work requirements are compliant for the all Environmental, Health and Safety modules; refer to the BOS responsibilities for list.


• Coordinate the training and control of internal employees and external contractors on site.


• Ensure Barcelona site is compliant with all TT, ISO, OHSAS, local legislative requirements.


• Support OPEX function activities in the site: RIE's, JDI, A3


• Provide guidance to problem solving activities in the jobfloor and other areas.

The EHS Specialist & MAnufacturing Engineer will meet the following requierements:

• At a minimum an honors degree in Health and Safety.


• Minimum 2-5 years of experience working in a world class-manufacturing environment is preferred.


• Good, all round knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.


• Communication - builds cross-functional awareness; clearly communicates project team expectations; good influencing / negotiation / conflict resolution skills.


• Advanced skills in business, finance, cross-functional awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
