Our client is an important multinational and they are looking for a new member of his team in Dublin (Ireland), they are looking for an Application Developer with Java for a Health and Food Safety IT projects and operations.

Tasks:

• Development and maintenance of software applications


• Prototyping


• Integration with other applications


• Participation in meetings with the project teams.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Finished bachelor or 3 years of higher education or an equivalent number of IT professional experience (minimum 12 years)


• Fluent English (C1 level)


• Experience in architecture and design of information systems.


• 4 years’ experience in Java (both with J2SE and J2EE).


• Experience in developing secure web applications and in Apache Maven or equivalent.


• Experience in Object Oriented design patterns, in Testing Frameworks (JUnit, DbUnit, Spock,...) and in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL...).


• Experience in development of web services and/or other solutions for interoperability of information systems.


• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, AGILE)


• Good knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier applications


• Good knowledge of modelling tools (e.g. UML)
