C/C++ Software Developer- SS7/ SIP

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the R&D team in Vienna/Austria headquarters remotely while working in the office in Barcelona, Spain.


• Develop and maintain software solutions for the company OSS platform.


• Utilize SS7 Stack Protocols (CAMEL / MAP) and Media Protocols (SIP / RTP) in software development tasks.


• Implement Interfaces such as Web Services, REST APIs, and Client-/Server communication.


• Participate in software design and data modeling activities.


• Ensure the quality of software through module tests and support acceptance tests.


• Document software solutions effectively.


• Communicate and coordinate with team members and stakeholders.


• Maintain a high level of organization and structure in work processes.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.


• Maintain strong relationships with the Vienna/Austria headquarters R&D team.

• Technical High School or university degree in information technology, telecommunications, or a related field.


• 5 years of professional experience in software development.


• Strong Software development skills.


• Familiarity with SS7 Stack Protocols (CAMEL / MAP).


• Knowledge of Media Protocols (SIP / RTP).


• Experience with Interfaces, including Web Services, REST APIs, and Client-/Server communication.


• Ability to handle software design and data modeling.


• Quality assurance/testing skills, including module tests, support for acceptance tests, and handover to production and operations.


• Proficient in software documentation.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Strong organizational skills and structured working habits.


• Language skills: English (German is an advantage).

Location: Office in Barcelona, Spain, with the possibility of remote work, maintaining a strong connection with the Vienna/Austria headquarters R&D Team.
