Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a mid-level security engineer with a mixed role between IT and cybersecurity based in our Headquarters in Ma´laga. You will be mainly involved in operations, maintenance and ISO27K certification. You will be responsible for safeguarding our network and computer systems from potential cyberattacks and data breaches. Responsibilities

  Design, develop and implement security systems, applications and networks.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and evaluate security systems and networks and take corrective action when necessary.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide technical advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify and assess security risks and vulnerabilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and maintain security policies, standards and procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends and developments.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure the security of systems and networks.

  
  


• 
  

  Troubleshoot security and network problems.

  
  


• 
  

  Investigate security breaches and other cybercrime incidents.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare reports and presentations on security issues and solutions.

  
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• 
  

  At least 3 years of experience in a security engineering role.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with ISO27K certification and compliance.

  
  


• 
  

  At least B2 Upper-Intermediate level in English, preferably C1 Advanced.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of security principles and technologies, such as network security, hardening of Windows Systems,

  
  

  Mobile Device Management (MDM), Azure security countermeasures, Single-Sign-On authentication

  
  

  systems, VPNs, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems and encryption methods.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication skills and technical writing ability.
