Global leading equipment manufacturer for paper industry




Reporting to Operations Manager, the jobholder person will lead the Projects Planning and Continuous Improvement duties in the company, ensuring the keeping of delivery dates and avoidance of delay, and optimizing operations, and the main functions are:

  • In the planning focus, lead central planning and control to ensure the contract dates along the execution process for the complete scope of supply, and notice and manage possible deviations, initiation of shrt-term measures for correction & processing

  • Analyze customer's scheduling demands and its feasibility, in collaboration with other company areas (Operations, Procurement, Sales…)

  • Determination of lead time for critical components, and start of the advance planning process to ensure the delivery date, implementing detailed dates and reviews in the system (SAP)

  • Control and monitoring of the business processes with regard to the adherence to and securing of the key dates for all project participants, including the request and evaluation of status reports

  • Ensuring on-schedule delivery and active missing parts management to avoid disruptions in processes, including cross-departmental tasks

  • Post-adjustment of deadlines in the event of postponements in all affected areas and locations

  • Report the project status (weekly meetings, team meetings) as well as prepare presentations and progress reports to the customer

  • Lead the optimization of continuous improvement plan, actions and culture at the plant and its work flows (complete line assemblies, refurbishments, equipment repairs…)

  • Develop and maintain a strong communication with plant employees, driving engagement throughout the organization

  • Establish common methodology for analyzing, problem solving, project management to include all areas in the same objective

  • Collaborate with internal team to gain critical knowledge of Lean principles, demonstrating proficiency to lead Lean events in the organization

  • In the daily-basis operations in the company, keep the Lean Manufacturing methodology proactively, working to solve critical points, and always looking for reduce lead time, particularly in Service projects (assembly, analyzing, problem-solving proposal, execution)

Requisitos mínimos
  • MS Engineering education, Lean Manufacturing additional background is highly desirable

  • 5-years minimum experience in Lean Manufacturing tools deployment in manufacturing goods or machine/equipment manufacturer

  • Fluent in English (daily use in the Group), German is desirable

  • Dynamic, analytical and teamwork profile, with communication and leadership skills and change management focus
