Towers Project Manager PMP® (Wind Turbines)

From RDT Ingenieros, we are going to expand our wind energy team, with a tower Project Manager.


Description and main tasks:

-Tower Project manager inside the company platform product development projects in charge to prepare all deliverables according different gates, from the conceptual design up to serial production. Manufacturing tower cost and lead time responsible in the platform.

-Search, selection and certification of new concrete tower manufacturers. Clarify the initial list of technical requirements, support in homologation process, Transfer Wind towers manufacturing “know-how”, identify and solve quality issues.

-Prototype manufacturing follow up and validation of new Towers models

-To act as intermediary Manager coordinating customer, supplier, global headquarters and third-party logistics to ship concrete towers to wind farms, meeting schedule and budget.

-Develop, improve, and implement industrial processes to increase factories productivity, optimize process times, reduce bottlenecks and manufacturing costs.

-Track the production plan assigned to each project.

-Collaborate on quotations to suppliers and negotiating manufacturing capacity for each subcontract in coordination with the Procurement Department.

-Follow up and assure proper delivery of raw materials for towers manufacturing.

-Coordinate the project plan to assure the supply of the towers on time.

-Collaboration with the internal clients in the definition and specification of the project's objectives.


General Deliverables:

Deliverables: PRS, Cost, manufacturing concept, planning, risk assessment, CIPO, reporting slides

Internal procedures deliverables, Capex Control, PFMEA, process flow, suppliers technical assessments, tooling’s RD, Purchase request, etc.


Location: Pamplona/Navarra

Technical qualifications needed for the service:

4-5 years of University Studies in Engineering - Technical Studies.

-PMP: Project Management Professional Certification

-Knowledge of Lean six sigma. Green belt.

-Languages: English proficient

-Experience: 2 - 3 years as project manager , preferred related with Towers

-Ability to travel 15 weeks / Year

-Experience in Tower manufacturing process

-Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

-Experience in productivity tools
