Luxury Hotel




  • Develop the annual communications plan

  • Manages all media enquiries daily and ensures that all messages and stories are on brand and in line with the strategic objectives of each hotel's marketing plan

  • Develops a calendar of key events and promotional activities that generate media coverage

  • Collaborate with partner brands to integrate their news and further capitalise on any media opportunities

  • Oversee the organisation of events and promotional activities that increase the international fame of the destination

  • Maximise celebrity endorsement and coverage from target travel writers, lifestyle journalists and quality influencers

  • On an annual basis, reviews and update the crisis communications plan

  • Manages the brand ambassador programme

  • Closely manages the communications budget with a focus on a return on marketing investment

  • Measures and reports on the ongoing effectiveness of all PR campaigns and marketing communications activation

  • Maintain knowledge of trends and news in the hospitality, tourism and leisure industries on a regular basis and provide information to the team during meetings

  • Participate in regular updates and brainstorming sessions with the resort's outlets - tennis, golf, F&B. etc. and implementation of a sustainable strategy with all departments

  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that communication is clear between departments and that there is a flow of information

  • Attend industry events, webinars, and workshops whenever possible, to be determined on a case-by-case basis. May require travel

  • Coordinate with distribution partners

Requisitos mínimos
  • Educated to degree standard in journalism, English, business, marketing, or related discipline

  • Direct on property luxury hotel or related sector experience preferred

  • Incredibly organised with strong project management skills, inherent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task multiple projects and prioritise a heavy workload with a positive attitude

  • A natural people person able to motivate self and others who is emotionally intelligent, with an understanding of what makes journalists and influencers tick
