Multinational company leader in FMCG sector.




  • Define and implement the operational activities and strategic goals in EMEA region and provides country leadership and representation across the sub functions within Operations.

  • Ensures the countries priorities are input into the strategic planning of the region and help develop the operations objectives and roadmap in line with overall market strategy for the region.

  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure the progress.

  • To monitor budgets usage and operating expenditure across the region. To identify sites with overspend, conversion cost issues and support action planning.

  • Planning capital investments and capacity management.

  • Prioritization of resourcing and deployment of support into specific sites on matters of technical and operational excellence.

  • Drive the strategic planning of operational Excellence and material optimisation, in line with the Divisional & Regional priorities.

  • To develop strong clear leadership and vision within Operations, creating an operational environment which promotes continuous improvement, empowerment, motivation, participation, and team working.

  • To lead and play an active part in driving lean / continuous improvement activities and introduce leading edge manufacturing tools and techniques.

  • To work closely with Cluster Supply Chain and Logistics Directors, Plant and Engineering Directors, in establishing the required processes and authority to make capacity and cost optimisation decisions on behalf of the Cluster.

  • To identify and prioritize support requirements based on working with site managers as well as analysis of KPI performance trends.

  • Provide direct technical support on investment needs.

  • To oversee and control the execution of major capital installations and plants, in the region.

Requisitos mínimos
  • University degree in Economics or Business Administration required. Business Administration.

  • Postgraduate studies at a prestigious business school will be a plus.

  • Proficient in English, other languages will be valued.

  • It's important the candidate has experience on a bread or biscuits producer company.

  • Demonstrable experience as Operations Manager or similar positions in the Bakery sector (experience in transformation of natural products - raw materials - into elaborated and semi-elaborated products).

  • Experience in m&a projects and due diligence.

  • High potential to grow and develop your career in the organization. You will have international mobility and willing to take on another position in 1-2 years.

  • Knowledge of the business aspects of production, engineering, supply chain, quality, technology, human resources, finance, marketing, etc.

  • Ability to make an impact, influence and the leadership required to manage indirect teams.

  • Passion for supply chain and production.

  • Demonstrable competence in strategic planning and business development.

  • Practical knowledge of data analysis and performance/operational metrics.

  • Impact and influency.

  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
