Multinational Insurance Company




  • Proactive management of procurement activity and management of claims supply chain spend within the Company. This will include professional responsibility for securing the efficiencies in allocated categories within an agreed timeframe and with agreed targets in place.

  • Developing and agreeing with the leadership team and managing the execution of the supply chain plan and strategy for the Company claims. This plan and strategy will also include a supplier management plan and strategy as appropriate for the Company.

  • To provide operational supplier performance management for a portfolio of allocated contracts for the full contract lifecycle (contract sign off, implementation and execution to contract exit or renewal).

  • Analysing relevant supply chain data to make informed supply chain decisions

  • Developing a savings measurement and tracking methodology specific to the category (ies) in scope and ensuring ongoing management and reporting of the same to deliver target efficiencies

  • Leading and executing Procurement Projects related to the relevant category (ies) of spend and being responsible for both making and influencing strategic and commercial decisions of major significance to the organitation finances and delivery of services Communication and management of relationship with external suppliers and partners at the relevant seniority levels, both during delivery phase (including planning and execution of supplier.


One year contract




Requisitos mínimos
  • Deep experience within procurement and category management.

  • Experience of dealing with major stakeholders and strategically important suppliers in a Pan-European operation (specifically within Belgium, France, Spain, Netherlands and Luxembourg

  • Full responsibility for the total spend related to the categories allocated

  • Managing category procurement planning and strategy development with due consideration for political, economic, social, technological, legal, market and environmental impact for the Company

  • Expert authority for both procurement processes, regulation, general practices and commercial landscape for the categories for which the post holder is responsible

  • Ability to give confidence to stakeholders, customers and suppliers at the highest level

  • Support the governance of the procurement operations, including cross functional collaboration and the effective prioritisation, deployment, control and monitor of spend across the relevant area

  • Full responsibility for managing the delivery of contracts in scope including identification and management of all associated risks

  • Suitable Procurement qualification or willingness to gain the qualification

  • Fluent in English (Spanish, French, German and Dutch are beneficial)
