Jefe de Contabilidad (US GAAP) - FMCG - 9 meses

Our client is a World leading group in the Retail & FMCG sectors.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Drives excellence in all aspects of reporting (Management; US and Statutory). Reviews, manages, supervises, and approves day-to-day operations to ensure that Control team is operating according to the Financial Policies.


• Monitors and reviews month end closing processes, quarterly close, balance sheet, and tax filing to achieve the deadlines.


• Ensure compliance to all accounting and tax legislation as applicable.


• Management of the internal and external audit processes.


• Supervision of the Advertising and Supply Chain fund accounting.


• Management and primary oversight of the accounting department tasks including management of Franchise billings, AR & AP.


• Support in ad hoc requests and Control projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Education in Accounting.


• Minimum of 5 years in a controlling position with at least 3 years of experience at management level within multinational companies to ensure the candidate hit the ground running.


• High attention to detail and exceptional organization skills.


• Self-starter with good interpersonal skills.


• Procedure oriented.


• Used to work with very tight deadlines.


• Good knowledge with Excel required.


• Strong leadership qualities.


• Compliance oriented.


• Experience in US GAAP preferred.


• Hyperion, One Source and JD Edwards experience preferred.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent both in Spanish in English.
