  • Human Resources Manager| A good opportunity for your professional development

Important international company in the industrial sector with production plants.




  • Provide practical expertise in the management of people, to all Group businesses, functions and operations located in Iberia, so that they are enabled to deliver their annual operating plans and strategic plans.

  • Lead processes to progressively improve the capacity and capability of the Spain & Portugal organizations through talent management, performance management and reward management.

  • Lead the creation of a corporate culture that demonstrates employee engagement, employee performance and employee creativity and that embraces rapid and effective change.

  • Support staffing needs, including recruitment, employee development, mobility and retention programs.

  • Determine and gain agreement for the employee relations strategy for Iberia and lead all consultations and negotiations with the recognized trades unions and the works councils.

  • Support reviews of Group organizations' capabilities and develop and implement organizational changes together with succession, development, and career management plans.

  • Manage the annual, interim, and long-term remuneration and employment benefits review processes to align them with business plans.

  • Lead the establishment, transition and operations of region-wide HR services to a shared services model in Spain.

  • Lead Strategic Workforce Planning processes in Iberia - goal setting, reviews, coaching, development plans, improvement plans - demonstrating the value of the processes in improving organization capability.

  • Contribute to the development of business re-structuring proposals, justifying the investment of company capital and lead the handling of all people aspects of business re-structuring projects.

  • Maintain a human resources support organization that delivers efficient and cost-effective administration and support services.

  • Contribute ideas to the European and global HR organization and advocate and implement corporate HR & talent initiatives.

Requisitos mínimos
  • Professional HR qualification.

  • Graduate calibre.

Knowledge:

  • Excellent knowledge of Spanish / Portuguese labor law.

  • HR Generalist background having managed at an operational level in a multi-national organization.

  • Experience with multi-site talent management, including talent attraction, development and retention.

  • Experience with local authorities for tax and social security audits.

  • Experience in payroll management and HR shared services.

Skills:

  • Experience managing and deploying projects.

  • Excellent ability to work strategically and operationally and at all points in-between.

  • Strongly values-led individual with excellent judgement and decision-making skills.

  • Self-aware yet highly resilient individual capable of challenging and being challenged.

  • Ability to demonstrate high degree of confidentiality.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience of operating in HR in a similar role.

  • Experience of operating within Iberian employment law.

  • Experience of managing with works council representatives.

  • Experience of establishing new organizations and changing operating models would be an advantage.

Additional / special features of the role:

  • Fluent in Spanish / English (written, verbal and executive presentation) is required.

  • Occasional in-country travel is likely and infrequent intra-European travel may be necessary.
