Your mission


To identify new trends and opportunities in the market with regards to VM & Windows implementations at the point of sale, adapt and translate them to the different AWWG brands and lead the teams to perform the correct execution of these innovative proposals



What will the role entail?


VM and Windows Strategy:


  • Research market trends to identify new techniques and practices towards VM and Windows implementations in retail which can support the growth of the business.

  • Develop new proposals for the different AWWG brands with regards to VM and Windows displays and presentation, which connect with the brand strategy and serve the creative direction.

  • Create seasonal concepts together with the Consumer Engagement team and aligned with the campaign story to be implemented in the retail stores globally and develop directives and manuals for its execution.

  • Produce point of sale signage and creativity to correctly communicate the relevant brand messages and the commercial propositions of each brand.

  • Collaborate with the Retail Directors and the Product Merchandising team in the preparation of in-season updates and guidelines based on business needs and the market environment.

  • Supervise the timely and correct execution of all VM & Windows plans and actions as well as monitor the adequate maintenance and evolution throughout the season

  • Ensure that the VM & Windows strategy and teams support the business goals and the growth in turnover of our retail stores, as well as assist the expansion plans of the brands.

  • Support the Store Development team in the evolution of the store concepts of the different AWWG brands with regards to the VM requirements and standards.

  • Control the seasonal budget appropriately and guarantee that the capex and cost targets agreed are met and respected.

Pilot Store and Training:


  • Manage the Pilot Store efficiently using it to provide the most effective service and support to the business, teams and partners, by proactively generating content, delivering trainings and brainstorming ideas.

  • Design, together with the Training Manager, a comprehensive and dynamic training program to ensure the required VM & Windows capabilities amongst the field and store teams.

  • Create recurrent updates, brochures or videos to guarantee the continuous development of the teams and to provide sufficient content for the implementation of the commercial proposals and activations.

  • Identify training needs and knowledge gaps amongst the teams and develop the appropriate tools and programs to serve those needs or bridge those gaps.

  • Research and recognize new tools, systems or formats through which the content and guidelines can be more effectively communicated and shared with the teams.

Suppliers:


  • Evaluate and benchmark current department suppliers and identify potential new ones in the market based on service standards and costs.

  • Maintain and nurture a fluent and satisfactory work relationship with our partners, to guarantee excellent service quality and competitive fees, ensuring the needed flexibility and adaptability that the pace of business requires.

  • Define an implement improved processes and a more efficient structure towards the collaboration with the suppliers and the correct monitoring of services and costs.

Team Management:


  • Lead a team of 7-9 people and establish the appropriate organization and procedures for the agile and efficient functioning of the team.

  • Identify improvement areas for the team members, create career plans and design motivational initiatives to keep a focused and committed department.

  • Set objectives and conduct performance reviews reinforcing department needs and development goals, while coaching people to maximize their potential.

  • Ensure effective communication at all levels both internally and externally, as well as providing regular briefings to all team members on business priorities, progress and other corporate events.

Other Duties:


  • Participate in or lead projects to drive the growth and transformation of the organization

  • Support in corporate events, external fairs or specific projects the company might be involved with, where certain expertise is required.

  • Carry out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit that will benefit the Company

  • Understands and uses visual merchandising methods and techniques.

  • Has experience in the Apparel industry.

  • Shows commercial awareness and understanding of store operations.

  • Possesses a drive for quality and excellence.

  • Has strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Possesses excellent time management and multi task performance skills.

  • Must be personally well managed and show a high level of professionalism.

  • Is able to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Must have the ability to problem solve and have a methodic and organized approach.

  • Has the ability to supervise and monitor processes, and identify gaps and areas of improvement

  • Microsoft Office (Excel y Power Point), ERP
