Front end Developer

WHY APPLY?
The opportunity to work in a data driven (Big Data) company based in Madrid, next to visual designers (Design team) and close to CTO (dev team) and product area (data science).

You'll work alongside the design team in Madrid: That means designing solutions for new features, implementing, iterating, assessing the complexity of projects, etc. The entire process.

WE NEED YOU TO BE ABLE TO:
1.It is essential that you have 5 or more years of front-end experience and have used frameworks such as React, Angular or Backbone.
2.That you have mastery of HTML5 and CSS3, and knowledge of Sass
3.Knowledge of some server language (PHP, Ruby on Rails ...).
4.You have experience coding UIs that are mobile-first or responsive.
5.You've used JavaScript bundler tools, such as webpack or browserify.

DESIRABLE (not obligatory)
•Front-end tools for testing and building, like Grunt, Uglify.js.
•Knowledge of design tools (Sketch, Zeplin, Marvel, Invision, Photoshop, Illustrator,…).
•Ajax and RESTful API integrations, including JSON and/or XML experience.
•Knowledge of relational database systems (SQL, Mongo DB, MySQL).
•Bonus: you're open to experiment with back-end code too, as it will increase your autonomy as an end dev.
•It would be desirable that you have experience in the management of frameworks to generate static like Nanoc, Middleman, Serve ...

OTHER
•Agile development (not obligatory).
•Fluent written communication and collaboration skills.
•Fluent in best practices for responsive design and UX.
•Experience building sites for mobile and desktop.
•Good design-sensibility.
•Knowledge of Accessibility (W3C standards).
•Organized and methodological.
•Creative with a solutions-oriented focus.

Of course, you must:
•Have a sense of humour
•High self-motivation with a sense of urgency. Do not be allergic to working under pressure.
•Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable working in a dynamic, challenging environment.
•Be a lover of small details
•Fluent on English, written and spoken English.
