Data Center Technician - 12-month project

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical & technical tasks of low complexity on the Data Center Infrastructure equipment, as but not limited to (servers infrastructure, network infrastructure or other equipment on the DC floor) without immediate supervision

• Use hardware/software tools and workflows (automation) in support of these tasks

• Strictly follow all policies, processes and procedures related to the activities and Data Center environment

• Contribute to efforts and projects in the deployment, maintenance and support of current and new data center infrastructure

• Help test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs.

• Configure and troubleshoot OS-related challenges on servers.

• Identify issues, file bugs/tickets and/or escalate as needed.

We offer a 12-month project based in Madrid

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting operating system and computer/server hardware.

• Experience with networking protocols.

• Basic/intermediate computer skills (basic OS functions and troubleshooting, able to recognize and swap key components, perform basic diagnosing)

• Able to identify basic network components and perform fiber & cabling handling

• Basic level understanding of the English language

• Attention to detail Good communicator and a team player

• Able to work independently

• Ability to lift/move (25kg~) equipment as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within a data center or network operation center environment.

• Ability to collaborate and partner with teams to overcome challenges.

• Ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic work environment.
