Description


If you are technically minded, with strong customer orientation and excellent analytical skills, and if you are used to working in a professional and fast-moving telecommunications environment, then this is the best opportunity to develop your international career.


You will be accountable for the end-to-end process to capture customer requirements and to guide the rest of the organization to convert them into products that will be added to our product portfolio. You will be conducting analysis, doing consultancy, helping to (re)design the solution and managing the project till its implementation.



Responsibilities


Business Analysis


  • Work together with the customer´s business units to understand the requested product functionality, detect gaps and provide advice to our customers.

  • Work with the other areas of the company and lead the analysis of business requirements to elaborate a solution proposal.

  • Elaborate commercial proposals.

  • Write functional specifications for the product development team.

  • Write Feature Descriptions.

Project Management


  • Lead the e2e process to deliver the proposed solutions.

  • Report to the Customer and to the company’s Management the status of projects, providing alternatives to eliminate blockers, reduce delays and minimize risks.

Unit, and Integration Testing


  • Support the Test team on Test definition and bug analysis to make sure that our solution matches what the customer needs.

Product Management, Follow up, and Recording


  • Create definitions of new products.

  • Make proposals to Improve the product portfolio and increase the product capabilities.

  • Be the company Product Evangelist; demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the functions, features and benefits and share that insight, for example by providing training to less experienced colleagues and by revising and enhancing product manuals.

Other BaU


  • Sharing subject matter expertise to others in the organization or supporting others in their efforts to deliver.

  • Assist in the day-to-day operational activities.

  • Perform and/or assist in the regular customer operations.



Requisitos mínimos

Skills & Specifications


The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years’ experience in technical support and product development in Telecommunications (very preferably) or IT (alternatively). You would have a strong technical educational background combined with a commercial mindset within a B2B arena. Ideally you would have experience with infrastructure for emerging technologies. We are looking for someone with an extreme “can-do” attitude, a willingness to take on cross-functional tasks and to take ownership of assigned projects.


Compulsory Skills


  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both, business and technical stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong Customer Orientation skills

  • Methodical, high standard of attention to detail.

  • Proven expertise with Telecom Business and its processes (eTOM)

  • Knowledge of MNO and MVNE business and the different network standards like 3G, 4G and VoLTE

  • Experience building and knowledge of service-oriented architectures (SOA) and web services, including use of SOAP, WSDL, and RESTful applications.

  • Experience in Database script development, preferably with MSSQL but other database platforms are relevant as well.

  • Hands-on mentality, ability to assist in achieving the goals of the enterprise and to self-motivate.

  • Understanding current and emerging trends in CRM, consumer interactions.

  • You are fluent in English; any other language is an asset.

Valuable Skills


  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle processes.

  • Ability to simultaneously juggle several projects efficiently, despite challenging resource and time constraints. Can achieve project objectives in a timely, cost-effective manner with highest quality delivery.

  • Proven ability to work with, inspire and create consensus with a group to cooperatively achieve a common goal; a demonstrated ability to lead and organize cross-functional meetings and committees.

  • Experienced in Unix/Linux as well as Windows scripting and programming (shell, Python, PHP, Perl, .NET, etc.)
