Reporting to the General Manager, his / her responsibilities will be:

  • To raise and build business opportunities globally for the plastic manufacturing customers (like manufacturers of pallets, containers, tanks, jumbos, industrial boxes…). Candidates from injection moulding companies, producing returnable transport packaging for companies in sectors like logistics, automotive, FMCG, solid wastes and with knowledge of plastic products will be considered.

  • To focus on growing and developing existing customers, together with generating new business opportunities, through strategic selling, influencing and skillful negotiation. Business development globally, detecting new opportunities for the company.

  • To achieve business goals and maximize profitability in these projects, developing a sales business plan and sales strategy oriented to convert new opportunities into new contracts and customer partnerships.

  • Assist management in consolidating the growth strategy of opening new international offices.

  • To help the company for implementing their brand internationally.

  • Prepare weekly reports of progress and forecasts using kpi's and deliver accurate customer financial forecasting in accordance with the business plan.

Requisitos mínimos
  • Education: University education.

  • Sales MBA would be evaluated.

  • High level of English and Spanish is a must. A third language will be valued.

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as Business Development Director / Sales Manager Internationally, with both, knowledge of the plastic industry and sales channel to user companies of plastic products like pallets, containers, tanks, jumbos or industrial boxes.

  • A proactive individual that is determined to not only achieve, but exceed sales targets.

  • Outstanding track record of meeting challenging sales targets during the last 5 years.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.

  • Personal Skills: Leadership, Decision-making, Autonomy, team management, ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, professional network. Customer oriented. Goal oriented.

  • A strong negotiator that truly understands how to deliver an added value proposition.

  • Able to adapt their approach accordingly when dealing with a range of different customers and colleagues.

  • Feel comfortable travelling around globally.
