Demand Planner

Our client is a German multinational, leader in the automotive auxiliary sector.

The position is to work in a HUB located in Madrid, reporting directly to Headquarters in Hannover. The HUB offices are the same as the Spanish market offices, but the position belongs to Headquarters,

Your role: as a member of the Forecast Competence Center, you are responsible for the analysis and evaluation of Demand FC for responsible markets with the target to provide best possible input to Supply Chain (Production and Replenishment) and to gain market share / keep market share stable, and your participation in different projects to establish and continuously improve (long-term) Forecast Processes on business side and transfer Business needs to IT structure.

Your tasks
· Change Management
· Continue rollout of the new Demand FC process with the integration of ADEMA (Advanced Analytics in Demand Management - statistical Forecast) for respective Markets
· Guide and support Market Planners during FC process change in APO.
· Definition of training documents, provide training sessions
· Sustain knowledge transfer to market colleagues and within FCCC Team
· Planning System
· APO related system maintenance for respective Markets (CVCs, seasonal pattern, CCN/pCCN maintenance, mapping, etc.)
· Phase-in and phase-out of articles in APO system to reflect current and future status of articles for responsible markets
· Ongoing maintenance of FC Business Plan proposal to support Markets with yearly volume for new materials without Predecessor (Input for FC Statistical Total)
· Reporting
· Monitors market development and provide Business analysis (in collaboration with BI) and reports to support Market Planners on demand

• Knowledge in Planning System SAP APO DP or similar


• Advanced knowledge in Power BI


• Advanced MS Office

• Ability to explain policies, process, procedures and technical information clearly and accurately, verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical workforce


• High level of English, German and/or Spanish desirable (A high level of English is absolutely mandatory, your work is carried out in that language 100%
