We are looking for Supply chain manager for one of our clients, your role as a logistics and distribution manager is to organise movement of product to the site and deliveries to customers.

You'll ensure that the right orders are delivered to the right location on time and in accordance with client and legal requirements. You may also be involved in transportation, stock control, quarantine or other legal requirements and monitoring the flow of product.

You also play a crucial role in ensuring proper communication between the client services in Mauritius and the operational team in Spain.

Understanding the whole supply chain is important so that you can coordinate it effectively and liaise with suppliers, and customers. Reporting to the site director you will:

• Coordinate the incoming and outgoing shipments with suppliers and transporters

• Coordinate the execution of order for clients according to agreed specifications end expected deliverables.

• Liaise with all the people who participate in the process and administration to ensure that the product meet client specifications

• Plan and manage product movement to ensure an optimal utilisation of available capacity

• Ensure a proposer communication between the company regarding the flow of product and related logistic

• Plan transportation route

• Coordinates permits and authorisation in relation with imports and exports

• Monitor quality of delivered order and communicate necessary action to maintain or improve quality of services and products

• Report on activity related to the job.

• Responsible for implementing process improvements across the operations department

• Responsible of the Operations Scorecards reports including developing new performance metrics to measure product cost and quality

• Responsible of specific project at Business Level, leading the operation part.

• Responsible of the master data: Customers, Suppliers and Products

Requisitos mínimos
• English and Spanish fluent – French is an advantage

• Bachelor´s in Engineering or similar

• Strong experience in logistic, client services (>10 years)

• Good IT knowledge and reporting skill

• Good organisational skill

• Good communication skills

• Knowledge in animal related industry (automotive, biology, industrial livestock rpoduction) would be an advantage
