Reporting to the T&D Sales Director, his / her responsibilities will be:

  • To focus on growing and developing existing customers, together with generating new business opportunities, through strategic selling, influencing and skillful negotiation. Business development in LATAM, Spain and Portugal detecting new opportunities for the company.

  • To achieve business goals and maximize profitability in these projects, developing a sales business plan and sales strategy oriented to convert new opportunities into new contracts and customer partnerships.

  • Collaborate with the different engineering and EPC companies on international projects. To build strong relationships with strategic customers.

  • Succeed in meeting agreed and achievable targets for both sales and market presence.

  • Develop new customer relationships through pre-project discussions, site visits, technical support and throughout the project and sales negotiation process.

  • Elaborate proposals to a high standard that sell the benefits solution, including a numerically-based value proposition, and record all customer and account information in CRM.

  • Attend organised events such as conferences, trade fairs, webinars, as ambassador of the company. To help the company for implementing their brand into the LATAM market.

  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.

  • Prepare weekly reports of progress and forecasts using kpi's and deliver accurate customer financial forecasting in accordance with the business plan.

Requisitos mínimos
  • Education: University studies (electronic, electrical or telecommunications engineering). Technical knowledge of electrical chargers for electrical transformer lines and substations is desirable. Sales MBA would be evaluated.

  • Proven 8 years experience as key account manager or sales area manager in T&D at international level, in engineering companies / EPCs in the electrical / electronics sector.

  • Outstanding track record of meeting challenging sales targets during the last 5 years.

  • High level of English and Spanish is a must. French will be valued.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.

  • Demonstrate 5 year implemented robust and analytic sales processes.

  • A proactive individual that is determined to not only achieve but exceed sales targets.

  • Personal Skills: Leadership, Decision-making, Autonomy, ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, professional network. Customer oriented. Goal oriented.

  • A strong negotiator that truly understands how to deliver an added value proposition.

  • Able to adapt their approach accordingly when dealing with a range of different customers and colleagues.

  • Feel comfortable travelling around 70% (LATAM and Iberia).
