European producer of substrates for professional growers, home gardeners, landscapers and horticultural raw material customers.




Reporting to the European Bussines Unit Director the Regional Sales Director has the following resposabilities:

  • Develops a clear vision on the market for all Business Lines (e.g. Horticulture, Soft Fruit, Mushrooms) in a speci?ed geographical region.

  • Develops and executes a sales strategy which leads to a growing market share and long-term, pro?table and sustainable relationships with our customers.

  • Builds and leads a strong sales organization/ team based on product- and market knowledge, talent and ambition.

  • Maintain and develop existing customers and have a systematic approach to acquire new customers (independent key accounts and large retailers)

  • Achieving sales targets and building customer relationships

  • Giving input and feedback to our product development

  • Representing the company during fairs and customer events

  • Close cooperation with Busines Line and Product Managers, Customer Service and Operations

  • This position requires frequent traveling, national and internatioal

Requisitos mínimos
  • Level of education: Agricultural Engineering preferably, Bachelor's or Master's degree level or including other relevant education/work experience

  • Experience of using and leading sales with help of digital sales tools and systems

  • Skills to lead sales with quality brands

  • Change management skills

  • Focus on customers and good network skills

  • High level negotiation and communication skills

  • Seeks actively sales opportunities and takes initiative

  • Presents ideas, facts, and views in a clear way

  • Fields of expertise: Horticulture, sales account management

  • You communicate fluent in English and Spanish, but also fluency in other languages e.g. French and Arabic is a strong asset.
