Online Development Director

We are looking for a leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and experience developing an Internet business ideally in a tourism-related sector. Your mission will be to take the lead on our group travel online marketplace BuscoUnViaje.com and our online travel agency 99viajes.com. Both businesses require a revamp and you will need the skills, experience and drive to take them to the next level. The Director role responsibilities will include: •Analysing past and present operations and performance of our two business lines•Working with the team to establish a 180-day plan for each business line within the first 90 days and a mid-term strategy within the first 180 days. •Strategy and plans should cover User Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referrals, and Monetisation as well as Product, Web portals, SEM/SEO, CRM actions (email marketing…) and Analytics •Leading the implementation of these plans and supervising all business areas•Leading and mentoring the current team •Hiring and contracting suitable staff as required•Reporting to senior management and interacting with relevant teamsRequirementsOur ideal candidate will have:•Experience developing and/or leading an online business having achieved growth in online sales and other key metrics (acquisition, retention…), ideally in the tourism sector•Experience leading Digital Marketing projects (SEO/SEM, Email marketing, Analytics…) and leading multidisciplinary teams •Excellent presentation and communication skills•Advanced organizational and leaderships skills and methodologies•Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal •A positive and can-do attitude and the drive to make whatever project he/she is involved in succeed•Experience working as a Product Owner in an online businessAbout us: Our business comprises three business lines: Buscounviaje.com is a leading online marketplace for group travel currently serving Spanish-speaking markets. 99Viajes is an online travel agency offering specialist tours in both group and FIT segments, also serving Spanish-speaking markets.
