Multinational Biotech Company




  • Develop and drive market access strategy for Spain, deliver HTA submissions, lead P&R negotiations and ensure that all measurements required to commercialize a product are implemented in due time.

  • Explore possibilities and framework for accessing other markets across Europe (w/o DACH): identify, analyse, develop, and implement recommendations and strategies regarding P&R policy and challenges important to company's product portfolio in these European countries.

  • As part of corporate MASA team shape the global market access strategies and manage projects on product-specific value proposition, global value dossier, affiliate workshop, etc.

  • Drive development of Spanish market access deliverables including HTA submissions, evidence generation plans, negotiation strategies, and national and local market access tactics to secure reimbursement.

  • Understand the healthcare dynamics, policies, price and access pathways and anticipate new trends that may influence the access environment in Spain and across Europe (w/o DACH).

  • Identify appropriate key stakeholders and establish lasting relationships at national and local level; hereby engage stakeholders that will ensure effective negotiations.

  • Preparation, submission and follow-up of pricing and reimbursement files in line with defined strategy, supported by consultants and affiliates.

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of national and local market access plans in a cross-functional way with other internal departments and affiliates involved.

  • Support, educate and advise field teams on health economics and health policies to ensure quick introduction at different levels.

  • Proposing, driving and implementing all necessary projects and actions to fill the gaps for optimizing market access situation of company`s products across Europe (w/o DACH). This may include, amongst others, project work on global value dossiers, value stories, payer value propositions, objection handlers and advisory board briefing books.

Requisitos mínimos
  • Preferably with a Degree on Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or Medicine) or Economics with additional qualification in Health Care Management. Deep understanding of the Spanish (compulsory) and European (valued) healthcare structure, political environment and health policies.

  • +7 years' relevant professional experience within the field of Market Access, Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Pricing and Reimbursement.

  • Expertise of Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access including go-to market strategies and innovative pricing.

  • Strong network of relevant stakeholders in Spain.

  • Proven project management problem-solving skills.

  • Solid understanding of commercial and medical functions.

  • Experience in the coordination of cross-functional project groups to execute market access plans

  • Goal oriented, commercial strategy, sales spirit, business oriented

  • Nice and good person

  • Very fluent in English (minimum Advanced leve / C1), specailly speaking and minimum B1 Spanish level
