Freelance Event Project Manager w/ Native Level of English

We are looking for an Event Project Manager working on a freelance basis, joining an agency with a business model focusing on connecting companies to their appropriate audiences of developers and entrepreneurs, in ways that enable clients to innovate faster than their industry competitors. You will be in charge of event creation and promotion in the tech/startup industry in the UK and other countries (EMEA region).

Main responsibilities:
- Working with clients to create innovative visions for events
- Plan and monitor event progress to ensure deadlines are met
- Weekly calls with clients and effective reporting
- Manage the on-site elements - catering, print, people management, and sometimes getting on the mic and hosting
- Performance reporting on KPIs
- Dealing with clients face-to-face, by email, and on the phone

- Several years of experience in events in the tech/startup world
- Knowledge in design thinking and/or Agile methods (SCRUM...)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and to prioritise while working on multiple projects
- Creative problem-solver
