PLANNING

  • To plan the strategy for Direct Deliveries Operations short/mid/long term. Review demand and supply planning forecasts to estimate needs with special focus at peak activity periods.

  • To set up services objectives to carriers in cost and services.

  • To evaluate new suppliers and services to fulfill objectives. Evaluate and follow up processes, contracts and develop back up plans.

  • To develop and propose the area budget.

  • To coordinate the area team, participating in their selection, proposing their training and development, and evaluating their performance.

  • To propose and promote projects and new start-ups to deliver better service and costs. Review follows to improve operations.



CONTROL

  • To ensure that activities regarding transport, information and deliveries are performed on time, cost and with high quality to deliver customer requirements

  • To follow-up budget.

  • To supervise the daily transport and deliveries activities to ensure are done with high quality.

  • To control KPIs and set corrective actions where required. Review and improve KPIs when needed.

  • To deliver the targets in terms of costs and service.

  • To control proper flow of information between systems (carriers, warehouse, and customers).



EXECUTION

  • To implement projects to deliver improvements in quality and/or service and/or cost.

  • To answer diligently any customer complaints, solving the issue and setting in place improvement action to avoid repetition.

  • To work with suppliers to ensure reception of goods are done with quality and with the documentation required.

  • To manage relationship with the Transport Providers and Subsidiaries to follow up service.

  • To manage relationship with Customer Service to fulfill customers expectancies.

  • To follow-up Deliveries:

  • To organize and coordinate direct transport with carriers and HQ Warehouse.

  • To follow-up direct shipments to ensure the service to the final customers.

  • To communicate with Local Customer Service to solve customers' complaints.

  • To analyze logistics incidences and act with carriers to reduce delivery issues.

  • To carry out the tasks of issuing and preparing documents for specifics countries.

  • To review POD (Proof of Delivery) date is correctly entered to ensure proper invoicing.

Requisitos mínimos
  • Engineering Degree or business administration

  • Ideally Master in Logistics

  • Languages: Spanish (Native) and English (Fluent).

  • Team Leadership and management, problem- solving and analytical skills, results-oriented, well organized

  • Advanced Excel/SAP
