• Have experience as either a Senior/Lead Engineer, or prior experience in a management role within an engineering team.


• Work closely with our CTO and Global Engineering Leads to build a team aligned to the overall company mission


• Define employee's personal and professional learning and development plans, align projects to match their plans and interests, ensure high quality delivery of projects for our clients, and conduct regular performance and career development reviews.


• Work closely with the Head of People to build the Spanish team up to 15 people by the end of 2022, 25 by end of 2023, 50 by end of 2024.


• Lead from the front by making active contributions to pre-sales and project delivery, in addition to managing others.


• Play an active role in helping to maintain an excellent team culture aligned to our core values: learning, collaboration, ownership, and impact.


• Work closely with our tech partners: Google Cloud, DBT, Snowflake, Intel, DoIT

• Demonstrated leadership and management experience of technical employees.


• Commitment to continuous professional development - both for self and for team members.


• Excellent presentation skills including the ability to clearly explain complex analyses to various audiences and levels of seniority (including Directors, Executives and Board level).


• Multiple years experience as an Data, MLOps or Machine Learning Engineer


• Experience building solutions in a Cloud environment, ideally with Google Cloud (GCP) experience.


• Excellent software engineering skills


• Experience with a range of big data technologies: e.g. Spark, Beam, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, etc.
