Day to Day you will:
* Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis including product performance, customer behaviour, retail trends, what if scenarios etc.
* Provide performance measures for product and services suppliers, identifying and supporting the correction of underlying issues.
* Manage the product supply chain with third party providers, assuring stock availability at best cost through the network, minimizing out of stock and waste.
* Seek to optimise efficiency in the supply chain monitoring levels of equipment, stock, shrinkage, and wastage.
* Analyse sales data to recommend changes to stock ordering, shelf space allocation and promotional activity.
* Measure and report as required on the agreed operational key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Perform a variety of tasks in support of implementing new products and stores.

About your qualifications:
* You are at the start of your career, looking for an opportunity to use your fascination with data to learn and develop in a rapidly changing industry.
* You have exceptional analytical capability, with proven use of logical, systematic, and sequential approaches. (Really good with data!)
* The ability to express yourself clearly both verbally and in writing/presentations.
* Some proficiency in basic statistics (means, modes, standard deviation, sample size, quartile, and clustering).
* High level of proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with sumifs, countifs, vlookups type formulas, pivot tables, managing large data sets, matching records by use of keys, ability to produce basic macros an advantage but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with other analytic tools and data dashboards such as Power BI and a willingness to learn more would be an advantage.
