The Career Development Center (CDC) is looking for a person with a strong passion for working with people, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working with business school students and companies from all over the world means that no day will be the same.


The mission of CDC is to partner with companies to create a collaborative hiring process and prepare our students to succeed in their job search:


  • Develop new employer leads and manage company and Alumni relations to create career opportunities for all IESE talent, including Master-in-Management, full-time MBA and Alumni

  • Prepare students to succeed in their recruiting processes via self-awareness, company research, preparation for applications and interview practice

  • Connect students with potential employers

  • Manage and lead student run clubs to help them support their peers

Main responsibilities


The role has two main responsibilities: employer engagement which means creating new and managing existing corporate relations with companies who wants to recruit IESE talent, and student advisory which means preparing students for application and interview processes. Both with the goal of increasing career opportunities for our MBA and MiM students, and preparing them to succeed in their job search.


Employment Engagement (Sectorial Expertise, Business Development & Account Management)


  • Develop and execute an employer outreach strategy, targeting specific employers in selected geographies and sectors with awareness of current student’s interests and industry trends to maximize recruiting opportunities for our students. Establish performance goals and metrics and assess monthly performance.

  • Conduct proactive outreach, calls and visits, to corporate partners and new business leads to reinforce relationship and seek new job opportunities for both on-campus and off-campus recruiting to increase the volume and geographic diversity of recruiters and job postings.

  • Develop sales material and implement a comprehensive communication and marketing plan to promote IESE talent, recruiting events and corporate sponsorship opportunities to employers

  • Facilitate employer participation in IESE specific recruiting events, including Career Fairs, company presentations, Career Management workshops, in-company business projects, as well as other events designed to facilitate interactions between employers and IESE students

Student Advisory


  • Provide one-on-one job search guidance and mentoring of candidates through job search strategies, company research, networking and interview preparation

  • Deliver sectorial and company specific workshops and information sessions to help prepare students for application processes and interviews

  • Develop and share knowledge about specific industry hiring trends, profile needs and recruitment expectations of core clients by conducting ongoing research and engagement with the company representatives and alumni to ensure students have current information about specific job markets and industries



Requisitos mínimos

Preferred experience


  • MBA or business relevant master’s degree from a top ranked business school (preferably IESE)

  • Sales, business development, or product manager experience in client facing roles with a proven ability to create and establish external business relationships Preferably in a fast-moving tech or e-commerce company

  • Direct experience in a Career Services office from a top ranked school and/or knowledge of higher education (master or MBA) programs and employers is a plus

  • Case interview preparation experience is a plus

  • Results oriented: highly motivated to achieve objectives, both individually and as part of a team

  • Ability to travel regularly and work evenings and weekends occasionally

  • Fluent English, Spanish and full international mobility
