Production Engineer

A company recognized as a large exporter of premium leather products, located in Alicante, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join your facility. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. The Manufacturing Engineer will coordinate with all department and will ensure on time delivery to customer.

Duties:

• Study, analyzes and improve manufacturing methods and production systems.


• Works with all levels of the organization to identify and implement process improvements, find process interactions and dependencies.


• Designs, develops, tests and/or sources various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.


• Designs and implements lean manufacturing methods that meet regulatory compliance and improve efficiencies for the organization.


• Completes end to end planning, direction and coordination of all the manufacturing process and equipment changes.


• Professionally and systematically defines, designs, develops, and refines an Asset Maintenance Plan.


• Works closely with the Maintenance department to ensure the maintainability of new installations by implementing an effective predictive and preventative program.


• Utilizes six sigma and lean manufacturing tools that will lead to reduced downtime, increased production and a culture of continuous improvement.


• Leads change management activities and ensures solution adaptability.


• Ability to effectively present information verbally to other employees of the organization.

• Degree/diploma in any engineering stream.


• Relevant Experience of 5 in preferably textile or automotive field.


• Knowledge of TPS.


• Troubleshooting skills.


• Multi-tasking.


• Team building, decision-making and people management skills.


• Team player.


• English C1.
