Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the mission of this role is to contribute to the execution and development of internal and external communications, events and integrated marketing campaigns for Intercruises worldwide in order to develop the Intercruises brand and support the regions. The main focus of this role is communications.
What you will be doing:
Develop content for internal newsletter and liaise with contributors.
Manage online content for both external and internal channels including social media, company website and company intranet.
Coordinate integrated communication campaigns including internal, client, supplier, media and business partner communications.
Ensure worldwide consistency in all communications (internal and external).
Coordinate one off, unique communication campaigns when required e.g. Christmas.
Draft opinion pieces, interviews, web text, internal communications, news releases and marketing collateral copy.
Help with the development of the annual communications plan
Develop media partnerships worldwide.
Review all internal and external communications.
Coordinate with regions: to receive and filter corporate requests prioritizing, liaising and becoming responsible for the production stage until delivery.
Prepare briefings for the internal designer or other providers related to important productions, i.e: brochures.
Provide administrative assistance in marketing and communication projects.
Help the overall coordination of events such as Cruise Shipping Miami in cluding stand production and general logistics.
Attend events when required to manage logistics and organisation with regard to needs of the team.
Work with regions: to receive and filter requests (banners, welcome letters…) prioritising, liasing and becoming responsible for the production stage until delivery.
What we are looking for:
Native English speaker is a must. Spanish intermediate desired
University degree in: Marketing, Communications, Media or English
1 to 3 years’ experience in communication (internal & external) and public relations (including media)
1 to 3 years operational experience such as marketing collateral production, printing, photo sessions, stands and merchandising
Experience working with social media and website administration
Experience in liaising with suppliers and internal customers desired
Highly developed writing skills
Computer literacy skills, including Microsoft office especially: Excel and Powerpoint
Ability to be part of a team, delivering quality outcomes within deadlines
Highly flexible - prepared to work on a wide range of projects
Problem solving skills
Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present information at different levels
Excellent organization and time management skill
